2018 Campaign - Shield of Baal: Exterminatus

2017-12: Blood Angels v Tyrannids

These two enemies meet for the first time under 8th Edition W40K Basic Rule Book.

The mission was Annihilation with Tactical Objective cards. The aim was to win a Major Victory by annihilating all enemy units.

The outcome was a minor victory to the Blood Angels, who had more models on the table. However, due to the Tyrannid player not using the full damage output of their Warlord, the outcome should be regarded as a Draw.

Highlights were the wall of Nids shooting, 'first blood' was from the death of a Genestealers squad, the combined firepower needed to remove the Morlock, and the short combats: Scouts vs Swarmlord, and Swarmlord vs Deredeo Dreadnought.
